OpenVocabulary – Linking Public Vocabularies

Recently, a Polish company, Knowledge Hives, has updated one of their open source projects, Open Vocabulary. Open Vocabulary (OV) is a platform for publishing thesauruses and taxonomies in accordance to the Semantic Web and Linked Open Data principles.

The main goal of Open Vocabulary is to encode in the SKOS/RDF standard those vocabularies that do not yet have their RDF or SKOS representation. The new recently added thesauruses are, among others, Open Thesaurus for Polish language and thesaurus of Polish cultural heritage.
