Proceedings of C&T 2009
Wednesday, August 5th, 2009From June 25 to 27 2009 the 4th International Conference on Communities and Technologies took place at the Pennsylvania State University in State College, PA, USA (see http://cct2009.ist.psu.edu/).
The Communities and Technologies biennial international conference serves as a forum for stimulating and disseminating research on the complex connections between communities – both physical and virtual – and information and communication technologies. The C&T conference addresses researchers studying aspects of this interaction between communities and technologies, regardless of disciplinary background.
A main objective of INSEMTIVES is to support user communities to contribute to user-generated semantic content. In this respect the C&T conference series seems to be a valuable source of community-related research.
The proceedings of this conference are online now, available on the Website of the International Institute for Socio-Informatics (IISI):
On the IISI website you can find the proceedings of the three former C&T conferences as well.
